Stefan Molyneux on Libertarians, Immigrants, and Refugees

I'm not an anarcho-capitalist. I'm not an anarchist. I don't think the human species functions or can function in such a way so that an anarchist society is possible. Having said this, the speaker below, Stefan Molyneux, evidently is an anarcho-capitalist, but unlike most of that breed, he's not a rainbows-and-unicorns advocate of open borders. And the reason for that is that he understands cause and effect, human nature, economics, and other things that seem to be a closed book to most libertarians who are, I have come to believe, simply useful idiots for the liberals to use as shock troops in certain situations. I know very little about Molyneux, but this piece of his is breathtakingly sensible, especially viewed from within the libertarian context.

He says in this video many of the things I've said on this blog before, but says them more fluently and pithily, and in somewhat stronger language — I should say here, SALTY LANGUAGE WARNING.

In any case, this is remarkably refreshing, in that he deals with reality instead of touchy-feely theory. If all libertarians were this smart and sensible... Well, that's a big if. I'll be listening more and more to this fellow. His website is here [link]

  1. Alert: Commonsensical libertarian spotted! (immigration)

  2. Trump's upset a few folks on this side of the pond with his colourful views. So much so infact that they've started a petition to try and ban him from entering the UK!
