About the Democrats, seriously, there's noting to debate. Hillary is as phony as they come, and all of Bernie's plans are phony, whether he knows it or not. The best thing you can say about him is that he's delusional, and really thinks he can give everybody free stuff. In either case, the march toward super-big government will continue. Hilly will need to show how macho she is, by bombing somebody or other, wasting more money and Americn lives, and creating a few million more "refugees" that just haveto be let in. Bernie will be so damn peaceful that yahoos around the world will be encouraged and we'll have more terrorism here and there, and end up with more war anyway. And of course both of them love illegal immigrants and want more and more of them.
Kasich has gone on record as promising not to do anything about the immigration crisis, because it would be too expensive, or it wouldn't be nice, or something. And he wants to send arms to Ukraine in hopes of starting WW III with Russia. Cruz is trying to sound like he plans to do something about immigration, but his heart clearly isn't in it, and he'd never an mentioned the issue if Trump hadn't brought it up. Cruz is neocon, and that means he's far more concerned about Israel's borders than he is about ours, and that will almost certainly involve six or seven new wars in the Middl East, Come to think of it, he's probably also more concerned about Goldman-Sachs' borders.
So that leaves Trump. No, I don't think the polls make much sense. How many Reagan Democrats is a bozo like Cruz going to attract? Really. I can see Trump getting them all back. As for Kasich, if through some chicanery he got nominated, the Trump supporters will be too damn mad to vote for anybody.
And what does the race so far tell us about the Republican Establishment? Over at the Unz Review [link], Fred Reed explains:
Late breaking news: Jim Webb has endorsed Trump over Hillary [link].
Quibcags: Kagome of Inuyasha (犬夜叉) shows that she's well aware of the putrefaction, and Akane Tendo of Ranma ½ (らんま½) is showing concern to illustrate the quote.
