Everybody's Religious

Well, virtually everybody. I've long thought that most people are naturally religious, and that if you take their religion away by somehow discrediting it in their eyes, they right away go looking for another religion.  Or, as the quibcag says, they go find something that isn't normally considered a religion, usually a political philosophy, and make a religion out of that. Think of all the stories about priests who leave the church and join the Communist party. Our "secular" religion right now is liberalism, which its adherents often call "progressivism," and it certainly fits the definition of religion as they practice it, because it has all the answers, forms their entire world-view, and dissenters are not treated as adversaries or opponents, but as infidels or heretics. The religion is liberalism, and the creed is political correctness.

I found this quote HERE, at A Conservative Blog for Peace, and do go read it and follow the links. You'll learn that Obama is the Messiah, and he's surrounded by millions of apostles. And do expect the Spanish Inquisition, any day now.
Quibcag: I have no idea who the nuns are. Update! Anonymous informs me that this is fanart of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱 Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu), and now that I think about it, of course it is!  See a gif of the original three HERE.
