Fort Hood Déjà Vu

Here we go again. I don't have much to add to the graphic, a quote from Jerry Pournelle, except to remind you that, as we were briefly informed after the last Fort Hood massacre, one of Bill Clinton's first acts as President was to disarm American soldiers on military bases. Something on that HERE. The talking heads are wailing about where the guy bought the gun (did you ever notice that when somebody runs over somebody and kills them, there's never any talk about where he bought the car?), mental health issues, combat fatigue (the latest I heard was that he was never in combat, BTW), and a sort of generalized distrust of military people, but nothing about the most important fact in the whole business: All the victims had been disarmed by law, and consequently were completely unable to protect themselves. The shooter of course knew that, and knew that nobody would stop him in time. Thanks to politicians, especially Clinton.
