The Egregious Transformation of Miley Cyrus

Many years ago, a woman I worked with was bemoaning the behavior of her daughters, and I steered the conversation around to how popular female performers were in her household, and just how admirable they were as role models. She had a Zen moment, and realized that the whole family laughing and applauding female stars who act like sluts tended to encourage bad behavior on the part of young girls.  Then I had a Zen moment and realized that most people simply don't think about things like that, and are bewildered by the self-destructive behavior of their daughters. But there's more to it than that. Stefan Molyneux riffs on this thought, with reference to hypersexuality and bad boys and, basically, our return to savage behavior at full tilt.  Oh, enough pictures of Miley Cyrus are enough, to today's illustration is of a decent girl dancing in a bunny suit.

  1. Get a load of this one:

  2. Does no one else, when they think of "half-naked dancing with teddy bears," think of "Sour Girl" by Stone Temple Pilots? For some reason, Scott Weiland made it seem un-trashy. Maybe it was Sarah Michelle Gellar.
