Slick Willy's Soul Goes Marching On....

He really did loathe the military, you know.

BTW, some bozo on Facebook just remarked that "the shooter was from Texas, of course."  And all the other liberals chant "amen."  If anybody said "the shooter was Black, of course," they'd all pass out from the vapors.

  1. Didn't take you long to find some way to turn another sad event into political munition to attack liberals.

  2. It was a response to a liberal cunt on Facebook, who turned a sad event into a political attack on conservatives (in this case, Texans). That other liberal cunt didn't take long either, to call for new anti-Constitutional weapon bans. I guess it's not political when your side does it.

  3. I didn't see the supposed fb comments, so I cannot comment on their behavior.

  4. Liberalism is a mental illness; they're all emotionally four years old. Or as Thomas Hobbes noticed centuries ago: "The evil man is the child grown strong."

  5. Way to stay classy! Did you learn that one from Ann Coulter? Not only did you insult a majority of young voters but also people who have a real mental illness and have to struggle everyday. But that makes no difference to you because in true libertarianism the mentally ill would be left to die

  6. I can't remember who said it but it goes like this: "He who is not liberal at 20 has no heart. He who is not conservative at 40 has no head."

Some day, you will develop a brain. The fact you think "libertarians" would leave the disturbed to die proves that.

By the way, I had one girlfriend become bipolar and another schizophrenic. I was raised in an area with murderers, rapists, a serial killer (who killed a woman I worked with), and drug overdoses, just to mention a few of them.

I know a bit more about life than what you think I do.

  7. I have a brain and the fact that I have ideals, is not a product of my youth, but a devotion to my faith. If that was the case you would have to say every liberation theologian was brainless until the day they died, and to make such a statement is ridiculous. The church is called to do what is right, not what is effective.

As for libertarians, they are against paying taxes, which means that the social safety nets would be taken away. The disabled, mentally and physically would be left to fend for themselves. That is the world that would occur, and you can see it in third world countries around the world, where there is no aid to take care of them, they are left to beg.

The fact that you would call people mentally ill for caring about others and not just themselves shows that despite your past that term is meaningless to you.

    1. It's hard for me to believe you understand Christianity when you fail to understand that christians built far better safety nets for people without government assistance that actually lifted people out of poverty, as opposed to just helping them get by. And besides, isn't it true that God cares for every sparrow that falls?

  8. Strawman.

Yes, libertarians are against paying taxes. This is because taxation is theft, and taken by force. Something I would think a "person of faith" such as you claim you are would understand.

However, this doesn't mean that the "social safety nets" would be taken away, only that the government funded ones would be. Those funded voluntarily, say by church as the like, would be. Which, again, as a "person of faith" I would think you would prefer.

Libertarians don't really believe in a 'dog eat dog' world that some claim. We just feel that people should and will be helped by people who want to help, not by force.

  9. Taxes are a fact of life, and while ideally Christians should be able to exist outside of a state where vile acts of violence are done in our name on a daily basis. But as a Christian I also need to fight for social justice, which means changing the culture in which we live. MLK is the best example of this. My only argument against taxes is when they are used for violence. If I have to pay them I would rather see them feed the hungry, house the homeless, and care for the ill, than be used to murder, or push the poor further into poverty.

Many hospitals, schools and foundations have been founded by the church and later been taken over by the state, or were made obsolete when the state began to institute similar programs. Frankly I am glad that those in need are helped, since I am a person of faith, I do not care by whom, be it the state or another religious group that is not Christian.

With a free market economy, there are no regulations, prices can go as high as companies want, and there would be no oversight to make sure products are safe. In such a world I cannot imagine too many people except the very wealthy would have enough that they would be able to give. And in such a world, I do not imagine they would.

    1. What you have failed to understand is that the government is not a charity. The Bible itself declares that government was formed for the purpose of punishment. It is an inherently violent system and it cannot do anything without threats or vioelnce. As such it is best regulated to roles such as police, military, and border patrol, where violence is an a priori of the job.

Also, christian programs of charity have historically been exponentially more useful and far less debilitating than government programs. The Salvation Army is a good example of this. And Christianity can be spread through the chairty work of other Christians. By substituting the state for christian charity, you may very well have denied the Gospel to people, damning them to Hell.

As one final note, why des it not concern you that the government has complete power to jack up taxes as hih as they want Unlike your very flaed laiisez faire example this is a very real reality we live in. Government could raise taxes and there would be jack we could do about it.
