Liberalism as a Mental Disease, and Other Stuff

Actually, that's a little harsh.  Oh, in many cases it is a mental disease, but I think it most cases it's just ignorance plus the sheeplike nature of most of humanity.  Ignorance, because just about any actual facts about science, economics, sociology, etc. refute liberal precepts.  And sheeplike nature, because most people, alas, never search for truth, but rather search for what the "right people" are thinking and saying, and they proceed to think and say that, never mind what the truth may be.  And lord knows the "right people" are liberal, all the way from the Hollywood left to the news media to politicians — do keep in mind that "neoconservatives" like McCain and the Bush bunch are just a breed of liberal who periodically pretend to be in opposition to Democrats. (Sort of like professional wrestling, if you see what I mean.) Anyhow, I recently encountered and argued with three people on the net who were blind believers in liberal dogma.  Two of them professed liberalism, and one professed libertarianism.  Of course there were differences, but the similarities are kind of depressing.  All three took exception to one or more blog posts. The points in dispute were my rejection of racial equality and the virtue of homosexual marriage.  In all three cases, when I refused to be brought into agreement by the usual liberal talking points, the disputants resorted to calling me a bigot, a neanderthal, a racist, and ignorant, or some combination thereof.
One of these three told me that he'd been brought up as some kind of a fundamentalist Christian, but had seen the light, and 'converted' to liberalism and atheism, and now he thinks for himself.  Of course, he does nothing of the kind.  He's simply left one narrow belief system and joined another.
Here's one of his dopier ideas.  Conservatives (He calls everybody he disagrees with 'conservatives,' with no fine-tuning at all) don't support hate crime laws. (That's true, in general.)  But conservatives also claim that Blacks commit more crimes against Whites (which every study ever known shows is true), and they have to be wrong about the latter, because if they really believed it, they would support "hate crime" laws because then more Blacks would be convicted than Whites. Therefore, it is not true that Blacks commit more crimes than Whites.  This is the same guy, BTW, who assured me that Trayvon was an innocent "nice kid," and that Zimmerman is a cold-blooded murderer, and who called me a "racist" for disagreeing.

Where to start?  First off, these "conservatives" might well be considering justice instead of what laws might harm Blacks more than Whites.  And besides that,  now that we do have hate crime laws here and there, they're almost never applied to Black-on-White crime, because that would be politically incorrect.  In the third place, Blacks commit a lot more crimes per capita than Whites do, and there's a lot more Black-on-White crime than White-on-Black crime.  Of course, the MAG (media, academia, government) do everything in their power to obscure and hide these statistics, but the left hand doesn't know what the ultra-left so the FBI, at least, has been keeping some statistics that are very revealing about the crime situation.  So revealing, in fact, that nobody wants to talk about them.  Steve Sailer writes:

With gun control, murder, and race much in the news, it’s worth noting that the Obama Administration has solved its longstanding problem that, according to the federal Bureau of Justice Statistics, blacks commit the majority of homicides in the US.

Friday is a slow day in the news business, so it appears to have become an attention-seeking tradition in the prestige media to post extremely stupid anti-white articles on that day, such as the one involving that “mysterious” murder of the black gay politician in Mississippi from four Fridays ago.
