P. S. It's come to my attention (see the comments) that some people are reading this post and not catching on that it's an exercise in irony. The point of the cartoon and the video both is that gun-free zones not only do not work, but they actually attract killers, because the killers are reassured that everybody else in the "gun-free zone" will be unarmed and therefore easy prey. What kind of freaking stupid ad is that? Fox is really become the Gun-nut hill billie tv station. Shame on them.

DeleteYes, I agree! The ad is dumb, along with the cartoon strip. Banning guns isn't eliminating all violence, it is just working to decrease a specific type of violence by making it more difficult to gain access to a gun.

DeleteIt's true! Many killers emigrate to Japan to take advantage of their very strict gun control laws. This is why Japan has not only the highest murder rate in the world, but also the highest absolute number of murders.
