Socking it to Nixon

They're out to get Nixon again.  I've blogged before about the left's undying, irrational hatred for Nixon, despite the fact that he was clearly a liberal Republican, who espoused many leftist causes. The problem, of course, is that they've never forgiven Nixon for getting Alger Hiss, a leftist hero, and all his championing of civil rights and gun control and other beloved left-wing ideas can never make up for it. They can't say that flat-out, naturally, so they blame him for the triviality of Watergate, the Vietnam War (a Kennedy-Johnson project, which Nixon got us out of), and have made him out to be some kind of troglodyte right-winger, when he was always right with the Liberal Republican program.

Anyhow, there's a new book out that suggests that Nixon was a homosexual, a mobster, and a wife-beater, like Barney Frank, Bill Clinton, and John Edwards rolled into one.  Nicholas Stix tells us all about it HERE.

  1. In the Nixon White House tapes, it was revealed that Nixon complained that the Bohemian Grove get-together of world leaders he once attended had "the most faggotty bunch you've ever seen". Doesn't sound like the words of a gay guy.

    1. Not true. Back then, homosexuality was much more than now considered a perversity, and not really much of a natural socio-biological state. It was shunned and criticized. As a result, although many homosexuals still nevertheless embraced their status, many sympathized with the ruling perspective, and so started to hate themselves for it. They try to hide it, and then take out their anger at themselves on others of similar nature.

    2. That is such a pile of crap. As one commenter at Taki magazine put it, by that logic gun control fanatics must secretly fantasize about going Rambo.

    3. This is a tactic used to silence dissenters. Like during the Salem witch trials or the McCarthy hearings. Speak your mind against the prevailing winds and you get tagged yourself.

  2. Go see my review for this book on Amazon! Why? Because the author himself, Don Fulsom shows up in the comment section and shows himself to be both dishonest and bizzare

  3. My review is by D.Christensen and I gave him only one star. The comment section for my review goes on for 8 pages! Don Fulsom shows up on page 5. Just a couple if days ago I found that Fulsoms students, their names are on a site they set up for Nixon grand jury testimony, and Fulsoms friends and contributors make up the bulk of the reviews on amazon supporting his terrible book!
