The Mexico Problem, Or Is It?

Fred Reed likes Mexico. He lives there. He may be prejudiced a little in Mexico's favor, I don't know, but he's right about one thing.  Americans tend to think of a Mexico problem as something that's wrong with Mexico, but maybe it's actually something that's wrong with us. And maybe the problem can't be solved if you're looking for the flaw in the wrong place. The narcotraficantes aren't forcing Americans to buy drugs, are they?  It's true that the Mexican government encourages illegal immigrants to cross our border, but why do so many Americans encourage it, too? Why do we have such a big appetite for drugs and illegal immigrants? I don't have any good answers, which is why I listen to people like Fred.  His opinions are HERE.
