Homeland Security

When you hear the term "Homeland Security," you naturally picture a bunch of well-armed sentinels protecting the country from foreign aggression, right?  Like these guys.  Well, maybe that's part of the story, but even in the squeaky-clean Obama Administration, there's a certain minimal amount of fraud and waste, despite the Kenya Kid's herculean efforts to wipe it out.  You might even say there's been a tad of pork passed out. One element of this is the Nonprofit Security Grant Program, which sounds innocuous enough, except for that little word 'grant,' which means money, yours and mine, being handed out to other people.  John Graham has been exploring this, and has found an interesting story in the Jewish Daily Forward HERE.
