The Caucasus Snake Pit

Those of us on the real right are big on United States sovereignty and the defense of Western Civilization, in contrast to the Marxist-in-sheep's-clothing neocons.  The neocons, true to their Trotskyite roots, subordinate the United States and the West to their obsession with remaking the world in their preferred image, replacing the will of the world's peoples with their own, and making a few bucks in the process.  During the Cold War, when the neocons were on the Soviet side, a lot of strategies were developed to contain the spread of communism.  Now that the Soviets have fallen, the neocons have switched sides and are now using the same tools to spread their own slightly refined version of communism all around the world. The neocon hostility towards Russia is revealing.  They never had a problem with communism, they just don't like Russians.

I'm a believer in spheres of influence.  The Western Hemisphere is ours, and we should put up with absolutely no interference there from Russia or China, or any other outsider.  In like manner, we should recognize the Russian sphere of influence and not interfere with that.  And when you look at the Caucasus, which has been in the Russian sphere since Tolstoy fought there and before, you can easily see that it's vital to Russian security, and a meat grinder that we're better off staying away from anyway.  Of course, our neocon masters take the opposite view, and rich communists like Bereovski and Soros do everything they can to waste American lives and money to make the big bucks for them.

We should know by now, surely, that these Freedom Fighters we always support against evil dictators are just evil dictator wannabees themselves — consider Bin Laden for a moment — and our interfering in the Caucasus will do nobody any good except a few plutocrats.
